Can I put any socket 478 Processor in a Pentium M motherboard laptop?

1. This depends on the voltage of the processor usually they are ok if it's not it just wont boot up . Be carfull when you place it in mate.
2. Best put the right chip in the Socket that was designed to receive it.
3. unfortunately, im pretty sure the awnser is no.. unless im mistaken..the pentium M socket 478 chip is slightly different than a desktop 478
