1. In a laptop, Pentium M (Mobile) is the way to go. It has a lot less power consumption, and doesn't run so hot. Pentium 4's were mainly designed for desktops.
2. Pentium m is a better processor. Its mobil and has a higher L2 cache and they run cooler. it you getting a laptop get the Pentium M. far better cpu the the old P4.
