Pentium 3s

Which is better to buy, motherboard with integrated graphics card or seperate graphics card?

  1. Separate of course. If you change your mind about the video section later you can just change the card not the whole motherboard.
  2. Well it is always better to go with seperate. That way you can upgrade with the times. Motherboards do have a graphics card slot even if they are integrated boards but you have to know how to turn the graphics card off in order for the one you have to work so like I said Seperate is the way to go.
  3. SEPARATE!!!! ONboard graphic's have to use your processor on your motherboard, and ram,(shared). A separate graphic's card has it's own cpu, and ram, therefore your processor, and ram run's your operating system, and has only a little 'interweave' with the graphic's for your game.
  4. It is all about budget. Money is factor. Onboard -cheap but compromise on video display. separate- expensive but good display... Now a days you can buy onboard integrated motherboard but can later on disable that integrated video chip via BIOS and install separated video card whenever you wish (or have money)....
