I found this laptop online & it was only 100.00 but the mother board does not work. How much money would it cost to repair or buy a new MOTHERBOARD. Its a pink dell laptop.

... oh my. I'm afraid you're sodded. Replacing laptop parts is incredibly difficult - and for it to be completely compatible with the other components you'd need a Dell motherboard. Which only Dell make. And they don't sell them seperately. Sorry, my friend.

Depends totally on the exact model of the machine. They can run from ~$100 for older models, up to $400 for the latest models. The cost of installing will be HIGH. It would be at least 2 to 3 hours labor, at a fairly high rate. You are far better off looking for a working unit that has been refurbished off of a corporate lease. You can pick up machines that are only 3 to 4 years old, that will come programed, for $300 to $400.
A few hundred dollars, and even then, you're not guaranteed that the motherboard you buy is compatible with the other computer parts. Just get a new computer, save yourself the trouble.
