What would you do if your 19-year-old son was falsely accused of r@p3?

If he ended up stuck in county jail for months while fighting this thing because nobody could afford his bond. It's been two months and they haven't even had their arraignment yet. The whole thing is a "he said, she said" thing. It takes next to nothing for a man to get indicted for raaape. All a woman has to do is say "he raaaped me" without any evidence and that is that. It could happen to your husband, brother, or son because of a vindictive girl.

  1. Maybe he actually did rape her. How does anyone really know for sure?
  2. Make damn sure it was a false accusation. Then get a good lawyer or go to a bail bonds place, I guess. And yes it's true, the law always errs on the side of the woman when it comes to rape. It's unfortunate in situations such as these.
  3. Even though this is your son. If you where not there you dont know what did or did not happen. If they have facts proving he actually did something then thats life and if not like if he is just sitting in jail, just know everything happens for a reason and some where some way he will learnign something from this. Also my dad always use to tell us when we got in trouble for "something we didnt do" just think of it as getting in trouble for something we did in the past and where not caught for. Good luck to you and your son. They aren't just gonna hold him on a he said she said, they have to have some kind of proof and/or reason to hold him
  4. They arrest based on more than an accusation. Maybe there was physical proof?
  5. He would sit there until I had all the facts. At this point I wold tend to believe him because he has never given me a reason to doubt him.
  6. They need proof, not just a he said she said.
  7. he probally did r@p3 her
  8. I mean you can never take a rape accusation to lightly. It would take a very heartless person to make that kind of accusation. Maybe you should step back and look at it from a different angle.
  9. Wow, that's extremely saddening. I'm extremely sorry to hear that. :( Make sure you just keep a watchful eye on your boy, and become closer to him. You need to have a close relationship, parents give the best advice to their kids. He may have had an affair with this girl and she was getting revenge. Prevent it in the future.
  10. You have to blame the juries in the cases where a man was erroneously convicted of rape. Juries are so gullible. You have DA's that have agendas. You have judges with agendas. That makes the 14 against 1. Hire a private investigator and have this woman investigated. Anything that can malign her character may be useful in rebutting her testimony.
  11. I'm sorry but it doesn't take 'next to nothing' to get indicted for rape. It's one of the hardest crimes to prove and they don't jail someone for a simple case of "he said, she said". If he's been in jail for 2 months then I can guarantee there's more to it than that. No-one wants to believe that about their son but I think you need to open your eyes.
