Can 8600GT 256 DDR3 be plugged into MSI 915G Combo with DDR2?

I have MSI 915G Combo mainboard and i was thinking that can DDR3 8600 be plugged into DDR2? It has a single PCI-E slot.

1. Your video card DDR3 memory has NOTHING to do with your motherboard RAM. Yes, you can plug the 8600GT 256 DDR3 into the MSI, no problem whatsoever. Only thing, boy, that MSI is incredibly OLD... I'd suggest it's time to change it for a new one...
2. yeah you have a PCI-E 16X slot, you can use the 8600gt
3. Yes if you have a PCIeX16 slot then yes that card will fit your motherboard. I hope this helped.
