what's the difference between Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processer and an Intel Celeron Processor?
I am looking into getting a new laptop, I was wondering what's the difference in an Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processer T3400 and an Intel Celeron Processor 585? And which one is the latest version out of the two?

- A Pentium Dual-Core is a real production chip, where the Celeron series is just the chips that weren't good enough to be Pentiums. Much cheaper in quality. and idc. check Intel's website.
- The celeron you are looking at is single core The pentium you are looking at is dual core (this is the one you want) They are both physically the same size, and have the same speed, but you will get ALOT better performance out of a Dual core.
