- All Yonahs are Core Solo/Duos. Yonah is based on Pentium M, but there are no dual core Pentium Ms.
- Yonah is the micro architecture that Intel released for the Pentium M. The first Pentium M's are all single core, meaning they had one Yonah Core, but the Dual M has literally 2 Yonah Cores in one package. Both are exceptionally fast, but the dual core is newer technology and can multitask at lightning speed. So the answer is no, the Core Duo is a different microarchitecture than the M duo. The Core Duo would be much faster, although it may be rated at the same clock speed (Ghz), because the microarchitecture is much more efficient.
