how can i adjust the fan on my msi motherboard?

I have a msi motherboard (kna2 platinum) with a zalman cooler. When I put the pc in sleep mode it goes to sleep fine but the cooler stays on and so do the case fan and power supply. How can i adjust the bios to turn these off when the computer is sleep?

  1. I would try using SpeedFan. I wouldn't completely turn off the fan(s), even in sleep mode. Maybe turn them to a low setting to please your needs, but you don't want overheating problems. You can find SpeedFan here: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
  2. I'm not really sure about this but i think it stays on because your CPU is still running. Sleeping on a computer is just like a human not everything shuts off. Plus are you using a desktop or a laptop cause i don't think a desktop doesn't have sleeping modes
