if i buy another motherboard for my inspiron 5150 will soon have the same probs as the old?

actually when i pressed the power button the lights flicker telling me its getting some kind of power but not fully the ac adapter is 100% fine and the battery is good too, i tried this test with the battery and without battery just the ac adapter.
