I have a Nikon Coolpix P3, does anyone know what is the biggest SD memory card I can use that is compatible?

I bought a 4gb Kingston SD card but it cannot be read, I need to know if a 2GB card will work or should I buy more 1GB cards?

1. The typical transition point with SD and CF cards is 2GB. Up to 2GB the cards have a FAT16 format. 4GB and up use the FAT 32. That being the case your P3 should use 2GB cards just fine. I would think that a camera store would know that though.
