I am getting an intel pentium d 925 dual core processor. Is this good for gaming?
For my new computer it comes with an intel pentium d 925 dual core processor. I was wondering if this would be good enough for gaming because i want to play games like bioshock, call of duty 4, or WoW. And i want to play close or at the recommended level.

- Yes, its dual-core.
- As far as processors spec is meet the requirements for WOW and Call of Duty 4.
- Invest in a Intel Q6600, it is a quad core processor which means four cores in one compared to your D925 which is a two core processor. Intel Q6600 is future proof because future games due to come out will take advantage of all four cores making you gaming experience much more smooth. If you really want a powerful processor, wait two month until the Q9450 Penryn chip will be released which is a 45nm quad core processor which will be 4-5x more power for only $100 more then the Q6600. www.newegg.com (Computer parts for cheap) www.tomshardware.com (Benchmarking for hardware and news for new computer hardware) Thanks and have fun, Jddcode1212.
