what is the different of Intel Pentium and Celeron processor? What are their advantages and disadvantages?

Can someone answer me what is differentiate of the Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron processor. What are their advantages and disadvantages? Which one is better?

1. celeron processor s have low cache memory and pentium has more..so pentium is faster than celeron

3. celeron processor is very slow...i have one laptop with this processor..anyways you can speed up the processor by upgrading to l2 cache..

Diff between Pentium and Celeron mostly is price if you buy a puter with a Celeron core you can expect everything else to be lesser grade too! however for most people that's more than enough. if all you ever use, program wise, is word and excell this is plenty puter for your money. so why spent 2,500 for a deck of cards if all you do is play solitaire? if your a gamer or graphix designer like I am it's not going to work.
5. Pentium 4 - Faster, Hotter, Pricier and more supported and good for games, multimedia and performance hungry applications. Celeron - Slower, Cooler, Cheaper and good for Web browsing and word processing.
